Product Rave:
MUA MATTE PERFECT PRIMER:
Listening to: The Great Gatsby Soundtrack.

I've been wanting to save this for a different blog post which I was planning to do, but that involved trying other primers before I could finish that blog and this primer is just so damn good that I couldn't wait to tell you about it.

First of all is the price, at £4.50 (for 15ml) what's not to love. It's under a fiver and it's pretty brilliant. So why is this budget primer so good? Well it's pretty much a dupe and in my opinion better than the Benefit Porefessional Primer which is £24.50 for 22.0 ml/0.75fl .oz (US).

The problem I have with the Porefessional from Benefit is that by the end of the day my T zone is getting a little oily, and also it's rather siliconey which I don't like the feel of. Though the only thing about the MUA primer is that it's a bit on the thick side but when it set and I applied my foundation or whatever I was using  it was absolutely fine and I didn't notice it. Also, neither the Porefessional or Mua primer irritated my skin but always do a patch test on the back of your hand or your jaw just in case.

I love the MUA Primer not only for it's price but because it does what it claims, no question about it. It claims to be an oil control, complexion balancing, matte perfection primer and it definitely does all three. I tried out this primer while I was working in my part time job in a fast food restaurant, (which is a great place for testing out products that claim they are long lasting) and when I checked my make up after a day of running about in a heated place it still looked the way it did when I applied it before my shift. In fact, I didn't want to take my make up off because it looked that good. I did anyway though of course.

Just to be clear, I have two jobs, I also work in a supermarket, and in the one I work in everyone complains about their make up melting off their faces, personally I've never really experienced that, okay maybe just a little of my concealer might slip off sometimes but when I wore this primer nothing budged.

So, it stays put when your under stress, in a hurry and when you have those really, really long days, and is saving you a huge difference of £20 if your looking for a good primer. I really recommend it and if you have any suggestions for another product or blog idea for me then please don't hesitate to comment.
