Well, this is my first skincare post. Let me tell you a little about my skin.
I have two words to describe what's been going on with my skin: roller coaster. I have combination skin. Throughout my teens, school, two years of college after school, and even working in McDonalds and eating McDonalds while on my breaks I had clear skin. I'm not one to blow my own trumpet usually but back then I had amazing skin. I'd get compliments from people because of it. Obviously that was a good thing, but I looked young at the time and was slowly but surely getting into make up. I used to wear pink and blue eyeshadow to school (not together, but just pink or blue all over the lid) what was I thinking?! Right? Guess I was trying to make a "fashion statement" or stand out. That's for another post though. Now I'm 23 and I at work customers ask me or tell me that I look like I'm just out of school. So I still look 17, just imagine what I looked like at school. Maybe looking so young will be good when I'm hitting my 40s. Let's hope so.
So, in my opinion, you can't give out any skin tips or skin advice unless you've experienced stubborn breakouts that just won't disappear or have had bad skin or acne. When you have or are experiencing skin problems you would do anything to get your skin back to normal. Normal being the way it was before any breakouts.
Back to my skin story or roller coaster. I had clear, amazing skin but when I hit my twenties it just erupted. I don't know why all I wanted was to get rid of it and yes products help and diet may or may not help (or in my case not help).
Stay tuned for some tips on how to keep your skin clear easily, without spending a fortune on products and without making dramatic changes to your diet.
